Cañada de la Virgen is a set of ancient pilgrimage sites located outside San Miguel de Allende, only open to the public since 2011. During this immersive tour, run by archaeologists, you’ll get a rare insight into the Otomi people, one of Mexico’s indigenous groups. The archaeological park, with origins in the sixth century, contains the ruins of an observatory, colossal temple, and burial chambers. Round-trip transfers from San Miguel de Allende and lunch are included.
